A solid reputation
In 1987 Belgian chocolate producer Bouchardl'Escaut got off to a good start. Thanks to its high-quality products and extraordinary service, the company soon became a respected player in the chocolate world.. A few years ago, we acquired Daskalidès, further consolidating our reputation.
2009 | The name Bouchardl'Escaut is simplified to Bouchard. |
2006 | The Daskalidès and Bouchard production sites move to one joint site with a production area of 10,000 m2. |
2004 | Acquisition of Daskalidès, a Belgian quality brand of artisan chocolate and pralines distributed throughout the world. In 1987 Daskalidès received the prestigious Laurier d'Or award in France for its high-quality products. |
1995 | Investment in a brand-new production site with a capacity of 3,000 tonnes a year. |
1994 | The company is acquired by the Belgian family-run holding company Sea-Invest. |
1989 | Successful launch of mini chocolate tablets (neapolitans) on the French market. |
